Producer Profiles: Bircan Unver

Prior to becoming a QPTV producer, Bircan was an Art Journalist and freelance Art Correspondent for several Turkish publications. As an independent Access Producer, Bircan has created many programs about art and culture including: 19 th Century Women Composers; Peace: Reality or Utopian Dream; Contemporary Turkey and Max Ernst at MOMA. In 1998 Bircan won first prize in the Arts category of the Hometown Video Festival for her program entitled “Walls of the World”. In January 2000, Bircan created the series The Light Millennium.
